Our luxury accommodation will be open in 2026!

You'll stay in a converted late 17th century cottage which was used as a pillerie - where people used to get put in the stocks when they were very naughty - we are restoring this to its original glory, and the bars are still on the windows of the courtyard garden.

The cottage will comprise of a stylishly designed open plan living and kitchen space complete with sofa bed [sleeps 1], coffee machine and rustic log burner, the upstairs king bed sleeps 2/3. The walled courtyard garden will be an oasis of calm and privacy - perfect for nature loving couples, thruples or small families to escape to.

Watch the stars through the skylights and enjoy breakfast or a BBQ on the terrace overlooking the sanctuary  or the sunset from the specially created viewing point next to our four giant trees, and pick your own apples, plums and pears from our picturesque orchard - we are creating a haven in the middle of our own little piece of heaven. 

 Guests will have access to our fully furnished gym with spin bike, multi gym, weights and running machine. 

Starlink WiFi available [although photos and social media posts are super welcome, the prolonged use of phones and computers is discouraged!] There will be no TV at this accommodation - we want our guests to be fully immersed and present in the beauty of our sanctuary. We have deer, woodpeckers, hedgehogs, hares, buzzards and barn owls that frequent our land, perfect for wildlife spotting and photography. 

You'll get fresh eggs from our hens, the tastiest fresh bread from our local bakery, plus milk, tea and [good, strong] coffee included in the rate. 

All proceeds from accommodation bookings will go directly to caring for our animals. 

We'll offer a range of optional activities {at an additional charge] including Animal Care Experiences, arts and crafts sessions, outdoor yoga and meditation sessions [lead by Zoe] and air rifle target shooting and archery [lead by Justin]

You'll be a short drive away from two of the most beautiful towns in the region, Lassay les Chateaux is 10 minutes with its historic chateaux, picturesque square and beautiful lakes. The stunning Bagnoles de L'Orne is 20 minutes drive with a breathtaking park, bustling restaurants, thermal healing pools and state of the art casino and nightclub. You'll also get the best pina colada you'll ever taste this side of Spain at Bar le 12 in Pre en Pail [10 mins drive] ;) 

We are an LGBTQ+ friendly venue. 

Well behaved, non aggressive dogs are welcome but they are unable to enter the sanctuary site itself and must be kept on a lead at all times when outside [with exception of the courtyard garden]. 

There will be parking for two vehicles.
